Can you install lightning protection on a new home while it's being built?
Yes. New construction is often the easiest time to install a system because conductors can be concealed inside walls and attics. We can coordinate with your builder in any DFW community, from Frisco and McKinney to Mansfield and Weatherford.
Will my HOA allow a lightning protection system?
Many HOAs in the Metroplex have architectural review rules. Modern systems are low-profile and can often be routed discreetly. We recommend checking with your HOA first, and we can provide a description of the planned system for your application.
What happens to my lightning protection system if my roof is replaced after hail?
The system needs to be carefully removed before re-roofing and reinstalled afterward so connections and conductor paths are correct. We can work with your roofer on the schedule so your property isn't left unprotected longer than necessary.
Do you protect large warehouses and commercial buildings?
Yes. Large flat roofs, rooftop HVAC equipment, and tall structures all factor into the design. We'll review drawings or walk the roof to plan air terminal spacing, conductors, and grounding for the building.
