Why It Matters
Why Arkansas properties need lightning protection
Arkansas is one of the most lightning-dense states in the country. The Vaisala Xweather 2025 Annual Lightning Report ranked Arkansas fifth in the nation for lightning density, at 230 lightning events per square mile. The same report named Hazel Valley, a small community in Northwest Arkansas, the state's lightning capital, with the third-highest lightning density of any state lightning capital in the U.S.
A lightning protection system protects the structure; it does not replace personal lightning safety. When thunder roars, go indoors.
Arkansas has a lot of buildings that stand tall and alone: long poultry houses and hay barns on Ozark ridges, church steeples in small towns, farmhouses on open Delta fields, and lake homes on wooded points. Many older homes and churches have stood through generations of storms without any protection.
We serve Arkansas from Fort Smith and Northwest Arkansas to Little Rock, Hot Springs, Jonesboro, Texarkana, and El Dorado, with systems built to NFPA 780 and three generations of family experience behind every one.
